Since 2010, I have provided many shelters and rescue groups with photography and expertise. At the beginning, it sometimes took some convincing, but I was determine to educate animal rescuers to the importance of good photography (check the photo tips I wrote especially for them!). Not only does good photography help animals get adopted - and get them adopted faster - but it also helps conveying a very positive image of the shelter/rescue to the general public. It's a win-win situation that photographers and shelters should take advantage of! Recently, more and more good photographers are dedicating their work to their local shelter, and it's a very exciting new trend!
